Free duck arcade games
Arcade games are about hands and timing: leading, flapping, flicking, landing, trimming. Rounds are quick, the controls fit a phone, and each one is free to play without an account.
What makes these arcade games
The arcade shelf is the fast one. Instead of working something out, you react to it: cross before the traffic arrives, land softly in the wind, break the ice, puff the acorns away. Most of them get faster or busier as you go, and your best score is what you try to beat.
The 9 arcade games
Duckling Crossing
Lead the brood across the road and the creek. They step where you step.
Nine squares wide and thirteen rows tall, the board in Duckling Crossing holds a country road, a quick creek and a row of empty nests on the far bank. Your job is to walk a mother duck and her three ducklings from the meadow at the bottom to those nests before the sun goes down.

Ducks Up!
Flap high, bonk down, grab the eggs. A duck scrap over a pond.
One rule runs the whole pond in Ducks Up!: whoever is higher when two ducks touch wins. Everything else, from eggs to turtles, grows out of that.

Splash Landing
Land a duck on the pond, feet first, in the wind.
A duck that flaps too hard overshoots the pond, and one that flaps too little drops like a stone. Splash Landing is a game about finding the gentle middle: you hold a flap button, steer sideways against the wind, and try to touch down feet first on open water beside a wooden dock.

Puffduck
Puff the acorns, keep the nests. Seven new waves every day.
A squirrel on a branch is throwing acorns at six duck nests, and a small hail cloud drifts overhead doing the same. In Puffduck three guard ducks blow soft clouds into the sky, and anything that drifts into a cloud pops.

Hatch Day
Flick eggs into the nest. Three of a colour hatch into ducklings.

Pond Thaw
Break the ice and let the ducks back onto the water, from deep winter to spring.
If you have ever bounced a ball off a paddle to chip away a wall of bricks, Pond Thaw will feel familiar: the paddle is a floating log, the ball is a smooth pebble and the bricks are ice. The ducks on the bank cannot paddle out until every piece is broken.

Quackvine
Keep the creeping vine out of the duck pond. Swim, splash and trim it back.
A weedy vine is creeping down a garden toward the duck pond, and the only thing between it and the water is you in a duck. Quackvine is a game of swimming sideways and splashing upward, and it rewards patience more than speed.

Pond Parade
Lead a parade of ducklings round the pond. Peas yes, bread no.
The mother duck never stops swimming, and every duckling she collects lengthens the line trailing behind her. Pond Parade is about steering a moving line through a pond without bumping into anything, including the line itself.

Puddle Ferry
Fly ducklings, a goose and a frog from dock to dock. Land gently.
Think of a taxi rank where the taxi is a small white duck in a skipper's cap and every fare waves from a numbered dock. In Puddle Ferry you fly one screen at a time, collecting riders and setting them down at other docks, and a slow, careful landing pays better than a fast one.

Where to start with the arcade games
Anything on this page can be learned in a round. If you want something calm, try the one where you lead a parade round the pond. If you want something brisk, try the one with the road and the creek. Each has a short guide with its controls and scoring.
